Assembly & Installation Instructions

Installation & Extraction Tool.

The "Hex-Installation Tool" and "Mini-Installation Tool" are specifically designed to aid insertion and extraction of retention pins. Depicted below is the Hex-Installation for reference. Both tools are identical except their scale.
Hex Collection: Use "Hex-Installation Tool"
Mini-Hex Collection: Use "Mini-Installation Tool"
One end of the tool has an extraction-push pin used to aid retention pin extraction; the opposite end is designed to aid installation with a retention pin guide hole. The retention pin guide allows alignment of the pin to support installation. Once inserted the flat surface of the insertion end can be used to seat the pin flush in the hex or accessory hole.

Hex Sub-Assembly Nomenclature

Retention Pin Holes: Holes that extend into or entirely through Hex units and some accessories to support assembly. Holes in adjacent joints are through holes, while vertex holes in the front/rear joining surfaces are shallow holes.
